Perth is the capital of Western Australia and is also considered by many to be the most isolated city in the world! While in Aussie I'll be working at the Northern District Gymnastics Club choreographing and working with the gymnasts. I'll be living the guest room with my friend of over a decade Mr. Derek May and his lovely 18 year old daughter Cailey. On top of working I'm planning to get scuba certified, skydive, travel across the country via train to Sydney...etc.
So this is the place to get my updates. I'll have no international phone while I'm down under but I'll be able to Skype. My Skype name is heathermcpirate and I'd love to chit chat with y'all whenever you want (though keep in mind Perth is 14 hours ahead of Central time...so it's 11PM on the 29th here meaning is Noon the 30th in Perth!) But this will be the best way to talk and I'll also still have my facebook of course.
Hopefully I will see all you Chicago peeps at our New Years party...but let the countdown begin. My plane leaves from O'Hare at 2PM central time!!! Woot Woot! Let's close out 2012 right!
